This class focuses on how to verbally shift a conversation from one of frustration to one of peace. Using the book, “Non-Violent Communication,” by Marshall Rosenberg, you will meditate, discuss, and practice your way toward a goal of developing verbal skills that support deeper understanding, compassion, and peace within yourself and your relationships.

Compassionate communication (also referred to as Non-Violent Communication or NVC) has been around for over 20 years and has been taught around the world. It involves a four-part thought format that is easy to learn and interesting to practice. As you use this communication process with yourself and others, results will be readily apparent.
Each Week, we’ll use Guided Meditation, Discussion, and Facilitated Practice to support your understanding and integration of the class content.
