Where did the name "Leap Ah-ha Coaching" originate?
After six years of helping people relieve their chronic pain,
Kristen Peairs, the founder of Leap Ah-ha Coaching, had
noticed that people in pain frequently felt like there was a
huge gap between their current state of being, and the
pain-free state of being they desired. For these people, it
was a leap of faith to even consider that they could feel
great again. When they did realize that their goal was
truly possible, it was always an, "Oh my gosh!" type of
experience...hence the "ah-ha!" So in short, clients of Leap
Ah-ha are assisted with their leap so they can have their
Ah-ha.

What is an Ah-Ha Moment?
An
Ah-Ha Moment is that instant in time when you realize
something you have never realized before! At its best, an
ah-ha moment brings a powerful
and wonderful clarity to the situation you have been
struggling with.

What is Wellness?
Wellness is a state of being vital. It goes beyond the
assessment of physical symptoms and explores the
inter-relatedness of the mind, body, and spirit. People
focusing on wellness create plans to help themselves grow and
develop physically, mentally, and spiritually with the
confidence that their actions now will support their vitality
in the future. These people take a proactive and powerful
approach to their lives and their bodies.
What is a Wellness Coach?
A
Wellness Coach is a person who helps you maximize your
personal health and wellness. There is an abundance of health
information available and it can be difficult to know if your
current exercise plan, diet regimen, and relaxation strategies
are truly the best for you, your life, and your pocketbook.
Your coach will help you clarify your goals, review your
current strategies, and assess their effectiveness. Based on
the information you provide, your coach will help you
determine how your plan can be even more effective in meeting
your goals.
Coaches...
provide structure
provide accountability
provide insight
provide clarification
share vision
identify and eliminate barriers
increase energy and focus

Who uses a Wellness Coach?
People who use coaches recognize that their lives go better
when they have someone who is one-hundred percent on their
team. These people want great lives, not just good ones. They
are business owners, associates, athletes, leaders, friends, moms, dads,
husbands, and wives.

How do I know if a coach is right for me?
Call or
email the coach and have a brief
conversation with them to see if they might be the
right coach for you. If you feel comfortable talking
with them and you feel better for having had the
conversation, then they may be a good coach for you
to work with. Feel free to ask them about their
background, their coaching specialty, and what they
like best about their own lives. You'll gain plenty
of information through these questions. Trust your
gut feeling when it comes down to choosing or not
choosing each coach you speak with.

Is coaching the same
as therapy?
Coaching is not the same as therapy or counseling.
Coaching helps you build a bridge toward a future that you
declare.
Psychotherapy and counseling help you understand and sort out
your past and your present.

What is bodywork?
Bodywork is a general term that includes modalities such as
Massage Therapy, Rossiter workouts, and Neuro-Integration.
These types of work help your mind and body integrate the
changes you want for yourself and for your life.
